The new range of miniOrganics

AFTER 15 minutes of pampering, courtesy of the good people at miniOrganics, this tired, sleep-deprived body is feeling totally refreshed. Ahhh. Not to mention, my skin feels as smooth and soft as a baby’s bottom. My baby’s bot, anyway.

I’ve always been sceptical of products branded “organic’’, but closer inspection of miniOrganics reveals these guys are the real deal. In fact, it can boast the world’s first fully certified organic skincare range for babies and new mums. If only I’d know about it back when I was pregnant with Princess Ella.

I could go on about the award-winning products using the purest ingredients and it being developed by a mum, but what’s grabbed my attention most is each product’s multiple uses.

Here’s what I’ve been lucky enough to try:

SUPERFINE JOJOBA: Sprinkling this in the li’l princesses’ bath left their skin so silky. OTHER USE: It can also be used to relieve dry, itchy skin; as baby massage oil; nail treatment; shaving balm for men; moisturiser for teenagers with acne prone skin; and wait for it, an eye make-up remover for Mum. Genius!

CALMING AND HYDRATING MIST: Baby Holly’s had this one sprayed on her bot more than a few times now. OTHER USE: You can spritz it in the air to calm a cranky baby (hello, over this way) and as a soothing stress relief for mum (again, in this direction!).

INFANT MOISTURISER: After bath-time, I’ve been massaging Holly with this one, primarily because it’s infused with lavender and chamomile. Ah, sleep. OTHER USE: For anyone with sensitive skin.

NOURISHING BODY OIL: I was fortunate to score a massage from the bloke in The Shed using this oil. He, who doesn’t really know one product from the next, commented on it being the first oil to not leave his hands greasy. OTHER USE: Ideal for conditioning and supporting the skin during the demanding later months of pregnancy, helping to minimise the appearance of stretch marks.

NIPPLE BALM: I’ve now been blessed with my second problem-free breastfeeder, so haven’t had to try this one for its primary purpose. OTHER USE: Cleverly, this one doubles as a super moisturising lip balm, so it’s definitely not going to waste.

There’s also the 3-Step Prescription (combining Calming Mist, Superfine Jojoba and Infant Moisturiser), which is an all-natural, non-steroidal approach to easing discomfort from dry skin conditions such as eczema. Baby Holly had quite dry skin on the tops of her toes and this combination got rid of it instantly.

The range also includes Gentle Baby Wash, Gentle Baby Soap and Soothing Nappy Balm for bub and Enriched Moisturiser for mums and mums-to-be.

We’re giving away $115.70 worth of miniOrganics products. The prize includes a Nourishing Body Oil ($55), Nipple Balm ($32.75) and Calming & Hydrating Mist ($27.95).

39 Responses to WIN: Be pampered with $115 worth of products

  1. Barb says:

Ok, it’s fair to say that my idea of being pampered has changed somewhat over the years….
10 years ago pampered was going to a day spa with a couple of girlfriends, spending stupid amounts of money on mud/wrap/bubble treatments, washing down a fancy lunch with champers and then maybe catching a movie.

Nowdays (2 children later) the word pamper means, hubby cooking dinner, leaving the dishes in the sink till the morning, kids in bed (and alseep by 8pm) and watching some adult TV with the boy and a glass of moscato.

Who ever said I was high maintenance???

    • Kel says:

LOL!! As long as it’s not footy, I’m with you Barb. Throw in a massage by the bloke in The Shed and that’s my idea of heaven! Oh, and I’d probably change the moscato for a glass of sav blanc. As you can see, I’m not high maintenance at all!! 🙂

  2. Caroline B says:

Oooh sounds like some products I might have to try.

Pampering for me now would include a quiet nite at home LOL Bub in bed early, hubby cooking tea (or ordering take away), a nice warm bath, a massage and then some ‘me’ time to do a little scrapbooking 🙂

Thanks for the chance to win 🙂

    • Kel says:

I’m with you on the warm bath, Caroline. I just love my baths with lots of bubbles…. although I don’t get to have one quite as often anymore. Quick showers are about all I have time for! Ahhhhhh….

  3. amie says:

Would love to try the nipple balm – unfortunately I am having round two with problem attachment bubby 🙁 and anything with calming in the title has to be worth a go!!

  4. Monique says:

My favorite pampering is definitely to have a facial and pedicure!! Makes me feel like a female in a house full of males as well as feeling gorgeous 🙂

I have liked your facebook page and subscribed to the blog. Thank you!

    • Kel says:

The bloke in The Shed is hearing you, Monique. He has to have regular trips to the footy, so he can feel a bit more masculine again. With a house full of girls, he spends most of his days playing hairdressers, dress ups and “babies”! 🙂

  5. Becky says:

Honestly, I don’t know how I would like to be pampered. I’ve never had a facial or massage, pedicure or manicure. The last time I went to the hairdressers my 2 year old daughter was 9 months old…
A bubble bath without a little person knocking on the door – or getting in with me – would be nice…

  6. olivia says:

with 2 terrors my daily pampering is a shower, alone. the kids become daddy’s problem, and with some gorgeous bath products it becomes a nightly ritual. plus it’s peaceful, and very quiet, with the water washing away a days worth of stress

  7. Roberto says:

Where exactly is the facebook like button ?

    • Kel says:

Hi Roberto, If you visit our Facebook page (link provided above) you’ll notice at the top of the page, next to our photo, a button that says “like”. If you click this, it means you’ll be able to keep up to date on all the happenings here at Three Li’l Princesses. Of course, you will need to have a Facebook account first. 🙂

  8. melanie w says:

my favorite way to be pampered is someone else doing the house work whilst i have a glass of wine and a bath unfortunately for me that hardly ever happens so i will take pampering any way i can get it:)
liked on facebook as mellie jane

  9. Trish says:

    Such gorgeous products.
Good idea for the nipple cream
I like to be pampered in a big bubble bath , with a half glass full of ‘something’ and candlelight.

  10. Tracy says:

Oh, these products sound devine. I’m sure I can give them a good home!

My favourite way to be pampered is having a long bubble bath with candlelight, music, wine and chocolate while someone cleans my kitchen 🙂

    A girl can dream right?

  11. Karen Turner says:

Nowdays a pampering for me would be a sleep in but that’s never going to happen lol so a full body salt scrub and facial is a pampering I’m keen to experience.

  12. joyjoyc says:

I like being pampered from head to toe, front and back, up and down, in and out, left to right, basically I like being pampered all over!

  13. Elisha Squire says:

Oh i would love these products, being a twin mummy – I always end up last on the list of priorities…. My idea of pampered at this very point in my life, with twin toddlers, 11 year old pre teen son and a very PMS early stages daughter of almost 10 – AND ready to pop baby 5 ( yes yes i am mad!)

would be a day alone… Just one day at home to do NOTHING! No Chores, no washing, no cleaning, no nappies, no bottles, no meals to cook… just doing NOTHING – reading a book… watching a full movie … Oh it would be bliss – and THEN a nice warm bath in some new miniorganic products – hehe, sounds like Heaven!

    • Kel says:

Far out, Elisha. You do have your hands full! Sounds like you’re definitely in need of some serious pampering! 🙂

  14. Felicity says:

Hi Kellie, I’ve discovered you via your Guest Post at Naomis [www.sevencherubs.com] and am pleased that I did.

Although I’m a stepmum to three [9/13/14] & I can’t really relate to sleep deprivation yet – the teens in cars years are quickly approaching – I really enjoy your writing style and love the concept of a collaborative blog.

Looking forward to popping in regularly,

    Felicity x

  15. Jane says:

Thanks Jane. Always nice to find fellow Taswegians in the blogosphere!! 🙂
Really love your site too. It’s fantastic. I’ll be a regular visitor now!

  16. Deb says:

Hmm how I’d like to be pampered?? well before kids I used the expensive facial cleansers, spent time going to the expensive beauty salons and had long hot baths. Now after kids I use the kids baby wash to wash my face, I walk past beauty salons and my bath consists of “mummy the water is too hot can you put some more cold in’…. I wouldn’t turn back the clock but maybe just maybe it would be nice to put something on your skin that doesn’t smell like a baby’s bot!

  17. jane gardam says:

My pampering time is when I actually get to be alone and do what ever I want which usually includes a big bubble bath whilst I catch up reading a good gossip mag. OH I can hear them banging on the door already…………………

  18. pixie says:

These days I love to have my toenails painted and have a footrub..usually done by my 13 year old DD 🙂

    • Kel says:

Oh, how beautiful Pixie. Three year old Ella loves doing my toenails too… which means half of my foot gets painted too! 🙂

  19. Kym says:

    Liked and subscribed 🙂

I like to be pampered………hmmmm…… thinking…… thinking…… still thinking……. beeeeeepppppppppppp………….brain has gone dead from lack of no pampering ever! Honestly to be pampered right now would be able to have a full nights sleep! Only 4 days to go and hubby will take over night shift for me with bubs! yay! now maybe that is pampering!

    • Kel says:

Oh, you lucky thing Kym. Baby Holly has just turned five months, so it’s been five long months since I’ve had a full night’s sleep. Hanging out for my day to come…. Enjoy yours!! 🙂

      • Kym says:

Oh Kel! I know the feeling our first daughter didn’t sleep through the night till 9 months this time with a toddler and a newborn it has been even more sleep deprivation lucky my hubby is kind enough to do the night shift 🙂 He gets to sleep at work so it is only fair I get to have a sleep occasionally 🙂
