THAT’S Weetbix. Apparently, Ernie was hungry. He also spilled some of it on the floor, which made Mum’s cheeksΒ go reallyΒ red. Plus, he got it on his clothes and it stuck. Stuck like glue. I heard Princess Ella will be having toast for breakfast from now on.

  1. I’m serious when I say that Weetbix could be used as a handy replacement for mortar…

  2. sarah says:

heehee poor old ernie.. trying to get off weetbix is a lifetime job at mine xx

    • Kel says:

I think there’s a market there for an “easy Weetbix removal product”, Sarah. It would make a fortune!! πŸ™‚

  3. My toddler won’t touch the stuff. I guess that’s lucky for me on the cleaning front!

    • Kel says:

Oh, how do I find me one of those, Veronica. Ella just loves her Weetbix. That, or porridge, which is equally as messy! πŸ™‚

  4. Naughty Ernie making such a mess hehe.
    Gotta love weetbix! πŸ™‚

  5. Tat says:

Oh, you are so mean. Can’t Earnie have some fun?

  6. Messy Ernie! Even his expression has guilt written all over his little orange face πŸ™‚

  7. Heehee, it makes a dreadful mess doesn’t it? I gave the twins some for the first time the other week, my but I was scrubbing the high chairs for ages!!!

    • Kel says:

Hehe! Yes, it’s definitely one of those things you have to attend to straight away or you can be there for hours trying to clean it up after! πŸ˜‰

  8. Seana Smith says:

Hmmm. it’s sticky stuff. Porridge too. I often make my wee ones a yoghurt banana smoothie for breakfast… they have to sit at the bench to drink it after a spectacular disaster… luckily that carpet is going to be replaced soon anyway!

  9. Naomi Ellis says:

Oh my! I so dislike weetbix left and discovered when it has gone hard. Love that she was trying to be helpful πŸ™‚

  10. miss.cinders says:

    Hahaha Naughty Ernie!

I guess now I can be grateful “Arnie” had a drawn breakfast!

    Happy WW!

  11. Grace says:

Isn’t Weetbix insane how it just…”sticks” ??? There must be a glue agent in it or something…
Love the Ernie. He was always one of my favourites πŸ™‚

    • Kel says:

I agree, Grace. I’m wondering if there’s a secret ingredient in there that’s not disclosed on the packet!!
And yes, it’s a toss up between Ernie and Elmo in our house! πŸ™‚

  12. Skyelee says:

Never cross a hungry Ernie – lucky you fed him when you did or the weet-bix could have been on more than the floor πŸ˜‰ Happy W.W!

  13. Daisy says:

Hahahahaa!!! Princess Ella and Ernie sound like good little playmates!

  14. Tamara says:

    ha ha very good

  15. Jess Newman says:

Boatman and I were just discussing if it would be possible to build a house using weetbix. It has stuck to Bailey’s chair and all the scrubbing in the world won’t get it off. Think I’m going to have to sand it back!
    Happy WW!

    • Kel says:

Hehe!! Now, sanding isn’t such a bad option, Jess.
I totally agree that you could build a house with it. I think it would stand the test of time too! πŸ™‚

  16. Emma says:

Hope Ernie finds toast just as filling and tasty, then πŸ™‚

    • Kel says:

Yes, let’s hope so, Emma. And we’ll be steering clear of the Vegemite too. Another product that’s way too messy! hehe!!

  17. lol I understand your pain my smile turns to a frown when my kids request weetbix lol

  18. nellbe says:

Well Ernie’s gotta eat! What else is he meant to do? Poor Ernie.

    • Kel says:

LOL!! I should be grateful it’s not Cookie Monster or there would be all sorts of mess (not to mention the sugar highs)! πŸ˜‰

  19. Trish says:

Cute and creative.Ella is very imaginative.

  20. Julie says:

Yep, my 3-year-old daughter is better at getting the food into her toys than into herself. And of course, it is always the toys’ fault when messes occur.

  21. Hello Ernie, what a messy eater you are.
