IT SEEMS these little critters (a leopard and a zebra from the Zhu Zhu pets new Zhu-fari range, for those who aren’t quite up with the land of Zhu Zhus) have to go everywhere with us. Including to lunch. Thankfully, they were only interested in the lettuce from my Chicken Tikka Roll or they could well have found themselves as kitchen-hands to help pay their way.

LOL, I have all boys who have no interest in Zhu Zhu pets (it’s all Hex Bugs here), so I have to admit, I’m a bit tempted to buy one *for me*! I wanted something like this when I was little! Kids have the best toys these days!

    • Kel says:

Ooh, you’re educating me with the Hex Bugs. Never heard of them! Obviously something to do with having all girls! LOL! And totally agree – kids do have the best toys now. Beats my old stuffed toys! πŸ™‚

  2. They are so gosh darn cute, I’m looking forward to when my girls are big enough for me to buy one for them

  3. Zhu Zhu pets seem to be taking over my house. There everywhere and they so annoyingly noise but gosh there just so darn cute. My kiddies have the Ninja Zhu Zhu pets.
    How cute is the Zebra!

    • Kel says:

The zebra is our fave, for sure!! I haven’t had a good look at the Ninja line. Must check it out!
Yes, very noisy, but as long as everyone’s making happy noises, I’m OK with it! LOL! πŸ™‚

  4. Belinda says:

Too cute! I keep looking at the Zhu Zhu pets everytime I go to the shops, tossing up whether to buy one (or two) for my Little Princess (or me) lol

  5. Jodi Gibson says:

Very cool. But the noise here when all of our Zhu Zhu’s are out playing…gosh!

    • Kel says:

LOL! Oh yes, Jodi. It certainly gets Baby Holly started, that’s for sure. As long as they’re all making happy noises, I’m happy!! πŸ˜‰
Plus, they’re a lifesaver when I’m trying to get dinner ready of a night!

  6. Hahaha, thankfully our zhu zhu pets stay home when we go out. I could just imagine Mahli letting one loose on the floor and it scooting off never to be found again.

We do however take Jessie and Woody from Toy Story pretty much everywhere. They even get buckled in to carseats if there is one spare…

    • Kel says:

Hehe!! Very cute! I’m sure Ella’s toys would get their own car seat too if there was one free!
Her toys are on a bit of a rotation for outings. Zebra and Leopard are being particularly spoilt at the moment! πŸ™‚

  7. Gemma says:

I may go insane from those damn things, but your safari style ones are hilarious!

  8. We don’t have any zhu zhu pets yet but my little girl does love her various treasures that go in the car or her bed with her. They change all the time from plastic fruit, glitter pens, a floral lei, hair elastics, etc. I’ll share some photos one day.

    • Kel says:

Hehe! Would love to see some of the photos, Veronica. πŸ™‚
Ella presently has her Zhu Zhus, plus dolls, teddies, my old Cabbage Patch Kid, hair brush and hair clips in bed with her at the moment. Apparently, her bed has just become a hair salon! πŸ˜‰

  9. sarah says:

what cool zhuzhus love the pink one! We havent got any of them at our house, I heard they are super noisy and go off randomly ?? they are cute looking though!

    • Kel says:

They are cute, aren’t they! The pink one is a leopard and makes little cat-like noises. I’ve actually finally figured out how to turn them off!!! LOL! Beforehand, they used to sit on the bench and make random little noises. πŸ˜‰

  10. haha! love it Kel! Hope they didn’t try to run away squeaking under some else’s table.

  11. They look so cool. My girls would love them! Happy WW!

  12. sannah says:

Very cute! I’m glad they only wanted lettuce! My boys were into them for a little while (the boy-version anyway), but i think they were a little too old for them – just didn’t cut the cool factor. I think my 2 year old daughter would like them though, if she knew they existed!

    • Kel says:

      LOL! Love that!
I think they’re a hit in our house because we travel too much to be able to have a “real” pet. I think it satisfies Ella’s desire to have a dog … and a cat and a horse and a giraffe!!! πŸ˜‰

  13. Alison says:

They would make very cute little kitchen hands though ; )
Happy WW and thank you for stopping by and leaving a lovely comment. Alison x

    • Kel says:

      My pleasure, Alison. x
I can just imagine them doing the dishes or cutting the onions. Oh, how handy would that be?! πŸ˜‰

  14. nellbe says:

How lovely. Lucky them for being able to come along on a shopping trip, they look very cute!

  15. Yeran says:

teehee too cute! I’m not up to that stage yet… with Evangeline that is. But I’m sure there will be some other fad toy that will be draining my funds when she’s of the right age lol

    • Kel says:

LOL! Oh yes, Yeran. Not looking forward to reaching the laptop and mobile phone stage! Now THAT will be expensive! πŸ˜‰
Ella’s friends have had these for quite a while, so I think she feels pretty special now she has some!

  16. Missy Boo says:

LOL! Our Zhu Zhu pets ALL had to come with us for afternoon tea on Saturday πŸ˜‰

  17. Trish says:

We don’t have any Zhu Zhu pets but I saw my nephews and they are kind of cute and low maintenance.
    Happy WW.
    Thanks for linking up.

  18. Marthese says:
