U is for Under an Umbrella Upside-down

Under, over, or beside

Can you find the 3 “U”s

That are trying to hide?

Alphabet Photography Challenge, U

By Veronica Wong

I love images. I love their stories, being inspired by them and challenging myself to create something special. I’ve only recently started learning to use my DSLR properly, otherwise I rely on my trusty iPhone. I love photography challenges too since they get my creative juices flowing. You can find more of my photos and photo challenges on my blog at Mixed Gems.

Don’t forget to head on over to the Alphabet Photography Challenge page, where you’ll find a series of “look and find” photographs to help your child learn the alphabet.

  3. Great photo Veronica! I found the Us too. I look forward to seeing more photos as you master your DSLR.

    • Thanks, Laney. You found them all.

I go in fits and starts with the learning and practising. But I do enjoy the creating side of things and I sometimes think that is just as important as technique – though I know both would be even better!

I found the Us too!! heh.. I was wondering why that child looked so familiar.. then realised it was a guest post by Veronica 🙂

  6. Seana Smith says:

Hello, am also in the process of astering a DSLR… well, have been all year… I’m fine if it’s all on auto! Lovely photo of your little girl.

    • I know what you mean, Seana. Auto is good though now I’ve learnt a bit more about aperture and shutter speed, I’ve found some shots look really bad with auto. It’s really a lot about trial and error and I’m still in the thick of that learning process. Long ways to go yet!

  7. Thanks again, Kel, for this lovely opportunity! This must the 4th or 5th thanks I think I’ve sent via numerous avenues! 🙂

Such a cute photo! And they were hard to find! Roo would have a complete conniption if she saw that umbrella! Pink AND elephants!!!

    • Does Roo like elephants? I’m actually the one who does. missT might just have at least 10 elephant soft toys of all sizes…..oooops. It was a lovely find from Taronga Zoo. I couldn’t find a kiddy one anywhere else, oddly enough.
