girl on toy computer

Wins of the week were:

  • Ella came home from vacation care this week with a sock puppet she’d made. Rather impressive it was. She then told me how a lady did a puppet show for them using puppets with real people’s heads. I’ve head of sticking your hand up someone’s…. well, you know what I’m getting at. But real people? I’m not too sure about that.
  • On the business front, some new clients have come on board, including now managing the gorgeous Jody and Nicole from Stay at Home Mum: Living On One Wage. If you haven’t checked out their site yet, then you’re missing out on how to live well on a budget. Smart cookies. And they generally have recipes for those in their “late night yummies’’ on Facebook too. Unless you look at Thursday night – that late night yummy was Johnny Depp.
  • Lastly, seeing Ella grow up to be just like her mum. This week I asked her to pack up her shoes. Her response: “I can’t Mum. I’m waiting for an email to come through on some other work I have to do.’’

OK, it must be time to start clicking. Right?

Ha! Love the comment about using real heads for sock puppets… kids come out with the most hilarious things sometimes! Congrats on the new clients! I love the SAHM living on one wage website – they are full of great ideas!

    • Kel says:

I know. I’ve long been a fan of SAHM. So much great info.
I know. Seriously, sometimes I’m sure people think I make it up. But she really does say the most hilarious things. And she’s so deadly serious when she says it! 🙂

  2. Thanks for the great Link-up as always Kel and I love the comment that Ella made when you asked her to pack up her shoes, I laughed out loud to that, my Mini Me often sits down and says, “I just have to finish this sentence” lol. You don’t realise how much they take in. Also congrats on the new client, I have talked to Jody from Stay At Home Mum briefly before and she is fabulous, I think it is a great match 🙂

    • Kel says:

Oh, how scary is it, Kym. It makes me check myself regularly now. So many times I hear my own lines being thrown back at me by Ella. Frightening!
      Glad you’re a fan of Jody’s too. She’s awesome! 🙂

  3. Caz says:

Oh I love the Stay at Home mum blog. It’s awesome. Well done 🙂

    • Kel says:

Thanks Caz. I’ve long been a fan of Jody’s. She’s a clever cookie to create such an indemand blog like she has. 🙂

  4. thanks again for the fabulous link up Kel. And well done on the job front 🙂 x
