two sisters cuddling

Princess Ella and Baby Holly cuddling

This week I’m grateful for:

  • My arachnophobe husband taking care of the particularly large spider in the bathroom this week, even if it did mean there were lots of jazz hands and Tassie two-step moves from him in the process.
  • One little girl getting the giggles in the bath tonight and setting off the other one. Which, of course, then led to me getting the giggles. I love our little two-child family.
  • It’s lovely when grandparents buy the girls raffle tickets, even if the first prize is a defensive driving course and second prize a trailer load of wood.

I’m joining with  Maxabella Loves to share what I’m grateful for.

Lol I can just imagine the jazz hands!! And at least the grandies are thinking about the girls future safety & comfort 😉

Giggling girls. We have four of them – the best sound in the world x

  4. Jodie says:

Cute! Kid’s giggles are one of my favorite noises. I hate dealing with Spiders too – glad I have a hubby who thinks spiders are cool and takes care of them for me. Have a great weekend Kellie. x

I’m not too bad with spiders. The Bloke in The Shed is a shocker. His mother tells lots of stories of his reaction to spiders when he was growing up. Sadly, those stories haven’t changed much now he’s an adult!! 😉

jazz hands and tassie two steps.. cracked me up!! lol! Not a fan of spiders at all!

  6. Hahaha love the prizes! I think they’ll love the wood.

The raffle tickets has me smiling. I hope they win!

I hate spiders, I go mental when I see one but I do your husband’s move and take care of them when necessary. x

    • Kel says:

Good on your with the spiders, Maxabella. Usually I’m in charge of getting rid of the spiders around here. I think he was trying to feel a little “manly” – although he didn’t look it! Hehe!! 😉

  8. I hate spiders too! And I’m pretty happy with my three-little-girl family (but would still have another…)
Keep up posted on the raffle ticket – defensive driving sounds awesome!!!
    have a great weekend Kellie

With you family luck I’m thinking you’ll soon be the owner of some defensive driving lesson or a bit of extra wood 🙂 Girl giggle fits are the best. Smiling just thinking about it. :O)

    • Kel says:

I’ll keep you posted on the raffle tickets, Caz. Yes, knowing my luck of late, I’ll score myself some fire wood and then have the headache of what to do with it! LOL! 😉

I was scared to click on your blog in case there was a picture of a spider – I’m such a scaredy pants when it comes to them. Growing up in the country they were such am every day part of life, but I’ve never been good with them! Love the giggles in the bath. xx

    • Kel says:

LOL! Don’t think The Bloke in The Shed would allow me to post spider photos! He’d never look at the blog again. Hehe!
Totally relate about growing up in the country and spiders being an every day part of life. Kinda glad to leave them behind though! xx

  11. Megan says:

Great work by the grandparents! I wonder if the driving course comes with complementary baby seats?

  12. In my defence ladies, this spider deserved it’s own post code.
    The “jazz hands” were justified.
I am now skulking away to lick my wounded pride …………
