sick girlSharing some “not so winning words’’ from this week:

  • “Mum, I think I’m going to …bleurgh’’.
  • The repetition of the two words:“Quick…. tissue…’’ If you don’t own shares in Kleenex at the moment, I advise you invest.
  • The entire family has now been given a prescription for antibiotics. Ella is the latest casualty, coming in with the double whammy of a chest and ear infection. We don’t muck around here.

To brighten up my week, I’ll be clicking on as many of the below links as I can. How about you? Has this flu epidemic hit your house?

  1. You have really been hit hard. I feel for you so much. We are all fit here now, but my oldest girl was on antibiotics a few weeks ago because of a chest infection. It is not nice when everyone, including mum is sick. I hope you all get better quickly now.

Thanks Melanie. I’m starting to feel a lot better – although, there’s still quite a bit of tissue use! I think Ella is our main concern now. Once she turns a corner, we’ll finally be able to see the light. It’s been a long few weeks, that’s for sure! 🙂

  2. Daisy says:

Oh you poor poor buggers!!! Still unwell! Big hugs and wishes of the get well and stop spending a fortune on tissues kind!!

    • Kel says:

Thanks Daisy. My fingers are crossed we can beat this thing by the end of the week. I’m well and truly over it!! 🙂

  3. It hasn’t hit us yet! What a nightmare for you, hope you all get better soon. Nothing worse than a sick little one. x

    • Kel says:

We’re all back to normal now! Well, I think we are! 😉 The last lot of antibiotics are about to end, so I think we can all breathe easy again. Thank goodness! x
