Baby Holly on a recent bike ride

FOR all those wonderful people who have been asking about Baby Holly, she’s getting much better. Thank you. She even walked with the wooden trolley today totally unassisted. I know, you don’t really care.

However, in other news, Princess Ella is now battling Hand Foot and Mouth Disease. The ulcers at the back of her throat are so big they look like stalagmites. Or is that stalactites? They’re so painful they’re preventing her from eating all her favourite “sometimes’’ foods. Although, apparently cake would make it feel better. Yeah, right, just like the Cadbury Fruit and Nut chocolate block I’m devouring will make me skinny.

Anyway, now I’ve turned you all off your Sunday Eggs Benedict, you may as well get clicking on some of the links below.

Oh kellie. You guys really have had a huge week. Hang in there – you know that they say … this to shall pass. (meanwhile – enjoy the chocolate!!). Hope both girls are feeling MUCH better soon and you and daddy are doing okay too 🙂

    • Kel says:

So true, Caz. I’m searching for that light at the end of the tunnel at the moment. Just discovered a blister on The Bloke in The Shed’s foot last night. Hopefully that’s all he gets! Been a tough week, for sure. x

  2. Mel says:

Not sure if I did the link up thing right, haha, I am still a rusty beginner 😉
    Great blog btw 😉
I am just about to have boiled egg on toast for breakfast 🙂

    • Kel says:

Ooh, love boiled eggs. The link is all fine. As long as it’s there, Mel. If you need to, you can always click the red “x” next to your entry, which will delete it and then you can start again. As long as you do it before Tuesday mornings. Will be off to enter the giveaways tonight. Thanks for linking up. x

  3. Oh Cake would make anything better (according to my kids too 🙂 ) Glad to hear gorgeous Holly is feeling better and poor Ella…hopefully they will clear up really soon 🙂

    • Kel says:

Thanks Kym. She seems to go from really miserable to perfectly fine! The sooner this one’s over the better, I think. Hasn’t been much fun. x

  4. Chocolate and cake – my solution to everything! Hope Ella is better soon x

  5. Daisy says:

Poor Ella! It sounds awful! I’m glad Holly is feeling better, though. No, chocolate will not make you skinny but it will certainly make you feel better for not being skinny!

  6. I forgot to mention our brekky tradition. CrashHubby makes the best pancakes!

  7. Rebekah says:

I’m glad your week is slowly getting better! And I saw you won the milk bottles. What a cute prize! 🙂 Hope you and your girls enjoy! xx

  8. Lisa Wood says:

    Hi Kelly,

I never realised you guys were not well – take care of you all!

I have seen foot n mouth disease on a little girl (our old neighbours daughter) and its so painful – hope it goes asap.

We have green smoothies in our house for Breakfast (at least hubby and I do) our boys love their porridge. Before we became vegetarians we used to have bacon and eggs for breaky on Sundays!

    Cheers
    Lisa

    • Kel says:

Green smoothies! Sounds very interesting, Lisa. What’s in it?
Yes, a house full of sickies here at the moment. The Bloke in The Shed has even got it now, although only a minor case… so far! x
