IF YOU see a women with a baby in Sydney airport today looking totally lost – maybe even close to tears – that’ll be the Taswegian with no idea what she’s doing or where she’s going. And she’ll also be stressing about the fact she has a suitcase full of clothes, but nothing to wear to the bloggy brunch she’s attending tomorrow.

But at least her bags look good.

    My suitacase:

My ModelCo travel bag (which I’m using as my toiletries bag):

And my two-day-old Vanchi nappy bag. And, let me just say, you may want to keep your eye on the blog over the next few days in relation to this one:

    PHOTO: The world’s greatest mystery

THIS has to be the world’s greatest mystery and one of my biggest frustrations. Who can tell me where on earth their mates are? It’s not like they could grow legs and walk (ah, hop) out on us. Could they?

BABY Holly met a new friend yesterday. She was rather taken with her too.

    Well, hellooooo…
    Whoa mama!
Mum, my friend is very pretty.
Look out, I'm going to give you a kiss.
    Here I come.
    Mmmmmm
    Mwah! xx

EVERY time I now try to take a photo of Princess Ella, I get a: “but only if I can take your photo’’. This is the result.

Ella, pretending to be a model.

Me, in my dags with no hair or makeup, having a “moment” with Baby Holly.

WE ALL know the story of the princess and the pea. Well, Baby Holly doesn’t sleep on peas (unless you count having a wet nappy), but she can certainly sniff one out as soon as it hits boiling water. And the carrots and potatoes and anything else she’s able to get her hands on. She loves her food.

PHOTOS: A sprinkle of fairy dust

AFTER last week’s Wordless Wednesday revealed a photo of Princess Ella and a photo of me “walking the plank”, but taken 30-odd years apart, my Mum started sending through photos of herself at the same age.

What Mum’s photos uncovered is how much we tend to take the same pictures generation after generation. To prove the point, here’s a photo of Mum and Ella dressed as fairies. We won’t reveal how many years apart these two pix were taken.

The little poser – Fairy Princess Ella!
    Mum, looking slightly bewildered!
